Suitable for occasional use but not for professional use

+All parts are well made. The edges of some parts are sharp but can be easily rounded with some sanding. + The diamond stones seem to be very well made and just need to be used for a while to reduce the roughness. + The slider and grommet system is smooth while being fairly tight. Assembly instructions can be seen in the pictures. For each step there is a picture of the parts needed and then a picture of the assembled device, but more angles should be shown. A better diagram would be an exploded view of the assembly. An assembly video would be helpful. There are two very small screws at the top of the pivot stops. I suggest you tighten them snugly and use extreme threadlock or just bend the threads. These screws will loosen during use. If they are loose, they prevent rotation. This arrangement needs to be modified, perhaps to make it the same as the lower semi-circular bar. The lower rotation limiter is a semicircular rod. The edges need to be smoothed out as the edges will affect the rotation. - There are no instructions on how to use it. A video would be helpful, particularly one on how to properly open and tighten the clamp and how to rotate and tighten the knife before sharpening. The center knob seems to need to be tightened and loosened with each turn or the holder becomes unstable. Since you have to rotate the knife frequently, this slows down the process considerably. That's fine for casual use, but it takes too long for professional use. + Surprisingly, I really like the workbench's C-clamp system, which is strong enough and easy to remove. But it would be easy to install in many ways, which is convenient thanks to the thick aluminum profile. All in all, it's a good system for the casual user if you make a few tweaks, but it's still not a pro.
