These tools are well made and the handle is very comfortable to use. I was a little doubtful about the round shafts at first (most carbide turning tools have square or rectangular shafts to keep the cutter flat with the work) but after using these I have found them to get better results because they can be tipped left or right to get a slicing action rather than a scraping action. I just finished a 12" bowl and the last cut was almost ready for the finishing with very minimal sanding. The point tool is great for taking out roughness on end grain using the side of the cutter. I would recommend these to any woodturner.
