I live in Texas. I have never used a product like this before. Always thought heated pipe wire was for folks north of Mason Dixon. But last February everything changed here in Texas. Ice storm Uri is here! This year I wanted to prepare for Uri II. I have the tracing set correctly (I think). I haven't plugged it in yet because it hasn't cooled down yet. I will update my review when it gets colder. Come to think of it, I don't have a thermometer either. Oh I just have to examine my wife's toes, if they're blue it's cold.
