Cons: Blades snap in and out for quick replacement, but requires some pressure to press on the plastic around the blade. One slip and your finger could catch on the blade. I would not recommend submerging it in water or it will collect excess water in the base. Just put the parts under water to get used to it. The white plastic picks up the color of the vegetables. After 1 use the plastic around the blades turned orange from the carrots I was slicing. Pros: - It has a very stable base that creates suction on your counter. - The blades are sharp and only moderate effort is required to turn the handle. .-The blades are conveniently stored together in a small container.-Changing blades is fairly easy and quick.-The kit includes a guard to help push food towards the blade.Overall I would recommend this.
