Thank you Morvath! - Original review. - Bought this for our student about a year ago and she has been using it seriously while sketching on paper and animating on her touchscreen laptop. This item had all the features we were looking for, and we particularly liked the angle-adjustable table, permanently attached side panel (with integrated mouse pad), and slots that double as a phone stand (great for viewing the reference image). ). Build quality is good, moving parts (legs, table top, drawer, book stand, etc.) work well. I find this unit to be well designed, well made and well priced except that: the top drawing surface, the part that lifts off, sags after about 6 months and no longer lays flat. It's not such a big deal if you're just using it as a prop for a book or laptop, but it's more of an issue if you're drawing on paper and frankly indicates a lack of design or poor materials. I would give 5 stars but as I expect the top to continue to pucker it will soon become unusable. making it a terrible value when you only get the claimed feature for half a year.
