When I bought this product for the first time, I was very satisfied with it. The springs and quality were really good and they squeaked quite nicely and loudly. My cats liked it. I still have the first one. Cats still go there from time to time. I bought a second one because I really liked the first one. I kept it in my desk drawer for a while since the other one was still in the game. Can't say why I opened the plastic on the second purchase, but this is where I was disappointed. This one wasn't as nice as the first one. It was thicker and unfortunately didn't creak at all. Complete nonsense. I still classify him as a kitten (4) and they played with him a bit but not like the original. It still perks her up from time to time. So I like the product, but I don't like it when things are sold that don't match the ad. I chose not to return as it wasn't worth repacking the package and sending it to UPS. They have a nice product but they need to work on quality control. I won't buy any other.
