This tool looks well made! Because it's aluminum, although it's heavy. However, it makes lifting the boards a lot easier! One of the advantages of this particular brand that I felt when making my purchase decision was the fact that the handle is supported on the sides and not in the middle so nothing gets in the way of your grip. Also, you have more support with two handle connections instead of one. I used it to lift sheets of 1/2 inch birch plywood (heavy duty hardwood) in preparation for Hurricane Dorian. The blades get fuzzy and you have to reset them manually before putting the tool on the lift boards, but that and the weight of the tool are my only two concerns, hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. MADE IN USA!
