My fault, I missed the description. I was looking for a sturdy caulk gun with a ratchet stock instead of a plain stock. The newborn hasn't been with you long enough to know how it will behave over time. Smooth stock caulking guns slip for me and I haven't had much luck cleaning them to get them working as they should again. I end up throwing them away and buying new ones in my never-ending quest for the perfect caulking gun. One unusual thing about this caulking gun is the width between the grips. I can palm down a basketball while forcibly squeezing the handles. If you have small hands, this weapon requires you to use both hands to fire it. This is a heavy duty gun, you won't bend this suction cup with a hard seal tube like I've done with others.
