I originally bought these socks from a gray store about 3 years ago. They are utterly exhausted from having been carried barefoot in the garden and generally in the house on a Spanish tiled floor with grout rough in places. I like these socks because other socks make my feet sweaty and then they get cold and then my calf cramps. I don't get cramps in my feet with these socks and the moisture evaporates quickly and they fit my wide 10ft size perfectly leaving them dry and roomy. I wear them all year round and in winter. They seem to have some sort of arch support built in but they don't bother me, they aren't too tight and I find these socks very comfortable. I find wool socks too thick, expensive to pair and time consuming to wash in winter. I'm so glad I found them here so I ordered them asap and now they're in black which is even better. I have expensive golf socks, cotton socks, spandex/cotton/poly blend socks, and even rayon socks, but my feet stay wet all day. I'm a person who doesn't sweat a lot, and I don't sweat a lot, so it seems very strange to me that some socks get my feet really wet.
