They are oversized. I usually wear size 8.5 and I measured my foot and it was exactly 25.5 cm so I ordered size 40 cm it says to order it. My hand fit (exactly) behind my skate foot and there was still room. They were just over a full inch tall. I returned them. I saw some reviews where it was not possible to return them. I don't know if they wouldn't accept them as returns, but I was able to return them online and have them shipped to the Revain Center just north of Chicago. Then I ordered two sizes smaller, chose 38 and these fit perfectly. If you measure your foot I would buy an inch less than the description says. The rest of the skates are good. They are comfortable, I have all the wheels red hot (I had red hot wheels when I changed them) and the wheels roll smoothly. They also come with a carrying case, which I wasn't aware of until I opened the box, so that's a nice touch.
