UPDATE 08/20/17 This has been used for day trips and has thrown up and it has withstood abuse. Although it's not waterproof. So when my dog vomited twice, I could tell that if I hadn't removed it relatively quickly, he would have hit the seat. It keeps all pet hair and is very easy to carry from car to car, which I have done. would write a first review of the reaction. I have a 2015 Honda Civic and the width is definitely wider than my seats so it squeaks a bit in the middle. The material is similar to a canvas tent. I let my dogs (bichons) run and sit in the back when it was installed and it seemed to be holding up great. The seat cover height is a bit shorter than my seats, but the straps around the headrests are adjustable (although this is a little less comfortable as there is a gap between the top of the seat cover and the headrest). The clasps themselves feel cheap and a bit flimsy. I hope they stand up to many uses. Overall I give this product 4/5. I will update my review if anything changes.
