Good for lifting when you don't need to lower
I bought these as a third hand to help me lift things so I can get a cart underneath. Once I had it, I used it to lift the heavy end table and slide the cart underneath. Then I realized that there is only one way to lower the level. Pull the trigger and watch it fall. It wasn't fun. Lever up ok but not down
