Works as advertised, but removing old racks can be trickier than you think.

Works as advertised. Note that you must completely remove the old strut assembly. Some guides online say you can detach the old strut from the round body it is bolted to in the hood, but this is NOT POSSIBLE. You must remove the ENTIRE old rack and its assembly. This can be more difficult than you think as the old struts on most cars were installed with glue applied around the stud/screw prior to installation.
