They work great. You raise the hood slightly.

They were easy to install. They seem to be working fine. The hardest part of the installation was removing the top brackets. They were factory fitted with blue Loctite. You will need a good metric wrench and a wrench tube extender. Don't forget to support the hood with a piece of wood cut to the right length. They work great.

So far so good, the price is excellent

Item Purchased to replace worn bonnet stays. The package included the racks themselves, ball joints for connecting the hood and plates for connecting to the body. There were no instructions, so the necessary information is always available. this is inserted in a very strange way. Ask me in five years and I can get a real answer.

Does not fit Lexus ES300 as advertised! (UPDATED)

***** UPDATE ***** Contacted seller about wrong screws, they had the right ones. I installed them tonight when I got home from work and they fit and work perfectly! I received the package on the day they said I would put a comma but when I went to install it it doesn't fit in the car as claimed. The brackets that screw into the hood are too small for the screw to fit in the original hood comma which doesn't fit like it claims!

Works as advertised, but removing old racks can be trickier than you think.

Works as advertised. Note that you must completely remove the old strut assembly. Some guides online say you can detach the old strut from the round body it is bolted to in the hood, but this is NOT POSSIBLE. You must remove the ENTIRE old rack and its assembly. This can be more difficult than you think as the old struts on most cars were installed with glue applied around the stud/screw prior to installation.
