have recently returned due to the use of circular knitting needles for chopstick knitting. Sticks will help you keep the mark better. and wooden needles are sticky enough that threads (particularly acrylic and acrylic blends) won't slip off like metal needles. Knitting with straight needles also requires longer needles. I took a few sizes when our yarn shop discontinued them and they really, really liked them. As I was planning my next few projects, I found that a few other sizes of 14 inch needles were needed. The price of this set is about the same or even better than buying just the two sizes I need in good quality wooden needles. I haven't used them yet, held them in my hands, tested them. The quality seems very good, the finish is smooth and balanced. Unlike many wooden needles, the dimensions are clearly stamped on the ends. Beautiful packaging with reusable plastic sleeve. I look forward to using them and if there are any issues I will update this review but I doubt I will have to.
