You can see in the picture the pillow protector is very large. I knew it would be large when I bought it because the seller listed the size. I thought that I have to take the height of the pillow into account, but I was wrong. However, the pillowcase serves its purpose, which is to protect the pillow. My pillow is a 20" x 30" queen size pillow and it had an odor when I bought it, but this pillow protector kept any smell from the pillow from getting up my nose. Even spilled a bit but this pillow protector kept my pillow from getting wet. The terrycloth cover isn't as soft as I expected, but of course there's no complaints when sleeping on it with a pillowcase. So all in all a good buy despite the extra size.
