I've gotten fat, so I thought it would be nice to eat better and try healthy smoothies with vegetables and fruit. I dug up my old blender and found a bad consistency and seeds in my teeth. So I did a lot of research and read reviews. I narrowed the list down to 5 brands, then 2, then Vitamix. I was very interested in the professional 750 series or the new Ascent A3500. I just couldn't pull the trigger on a $500-$650 blender. The Ascent A2500 has the same 2.2 liter engine. Model. I like brushed stainless steel, but that fraction (1/4 inch) makes it difficult for it to easily fit under my cabinets. The old block center plate style doesn't look as sleek as the new Ascent series. Love the redesigned refrigeration system for the Ascent series and the 3 extra years for a total of 10 years warranty. That's what told me Vitamix was going for a redesign. The Ascent series comes with a 64oz jar and it's other accessories work in progress The Ascent series consists of 4 models, all have the same engine, tank, warranty etc. The A2300 has a 10 speed dial, impulse switch, start/stop switch and digital timer A2500 has the same features and adds 3 program settings for smoothies, frozen desserts and hot soups and increases the price by $50. The A3300 costs the same as the A2500 but loses the software settings but gets touch start/stop, touch heart rate and a programmable timer (which lets you set a countdown). Time). The A3500 adds 5 software touch settings and $100 to the price. No matter which one you get, I bet you will love it. A few weeks after buying the A2500 I got confused and decided to buy the A3500. They're both amazing and I'm enjoying an awesome frozen margarita right now.
