The A2500 is the perfect choice!

I love my Vitamix! I make smoothies every day. I've been using Nutri Ninja but they only lasted a year so I decided to switch to Vitamix. Yes it was expensive but hopefully with a 10 year warranty I'm money ahead in the long run. Smoothies are really smooth now; much more than when using a ninja. I was very hesitant about which model to buy, but I made the right choice in choosing the A2500. It has a smoothie preset so I can fire it up and get going. I use the same selection for cleaning…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

The smoothie quality is insane compared to our Ninja.

Smoothie quality is crazy compared to our Ninja. Ninja smoothies are essentially applesauce and require chewing. Vitamix smoothies are just amazing. You can really drink it. However, the ascent is not perfect. The nose is kind of blunt. Much dirtier than a square pour out ninja. Also, I bet the larger, thinner containers that Vitamix used to have are better for thick smoothies because those wide containers get that air pocket if you make them too thick. Also hope they make a 32 ounce container.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Style 90

This is a device for life.

A lot of people said it better than me and I'd just say it again if I tried. Suffice it to say that you will never be disappointed when you buy the best. I had two Osters (one from the 70's which I would probably keep if the jug was still available, a newer beehive variety that was horribly loud) and a new Breville. The Breville itself was good, but the blade construction and difficulty in cleaning left a lot to be desired. It was quite powerful but overheated at times. Then I stopped fooling…

  • Sleek design

This Vitamix could end up costing you a lot more than you think

In general I like my new Vitamix. I spent a lot of time researching which blender to buy due to the high price. I didn't consider that the 64 ounce jar that comes with this model is too big for many blending operations. Because it's so wide at the bottom, many recipes fail to mix successfully—the contents splatter around the sides and under the blades of the 64-ounce container, sending those powerful Vitamix blades whirling helplessly through the air. Sauces and nut butters don't work at all…

  • Can't remember what it was

I've gotten fat, so I thought it would be nice to eat better and try healthy smoothies with vegetables and fruit. I dug up my old blender and found a bad consistency and seeds in my teeth. So I did a lot of research and read reviews. I narrowed the list down to 5 brands, then 2, then Vitamix. I was very interested in the professional 750 series or the new Ascent A3500. I just couldn't pull the trigger on a $500-$650 blender. The Ascent A2500 has the same 2.2 liter engine. Model. I like brushed…

Plant fiber, which plant fiber?

First off, this blender is AMAZING! This seriously blew my mind. I don't know about you, but product promotion often spoils it for me. I am so enthusiastic about the product and then it does not live up to my high expectations. I assure you that will not happen with this Vitamix! My previous blender was the Nutri Bullet and the Vitamix puts it to shame! Before, I had no idea I could blend pomegranate seeds and black berry seeds into a smoothie without the grainy texture. I thought it was just…

Lifestyle of the Rich and Rich

I fought long and hard not to buy Vitamix when my wife insisted we needed it to get the most out of our green drinks. She told me that this thing's power ruptures plant cell walls to make digestion of important nutrients quick and easy. But it's hard to say no to a beauty who eats right to stay beautiful, so I busted my wallet (not my cellular structure) and bought one. Now I realize the world is divided into two camps: Vitamix owners and those who think their little $99 blender is just as…
