First of all, I liked the look and the ease of installation. The hose is of good quality. The first thing you have to do when you open the box is remove the rubber inserts and zip ties, throw them in the trash and throw them away (well, wait until I fully explain). The rubber doesn't withstand the pressure and you can tell, like me, after the first ride. Good coolant flow on the garage floor, luckily not on the street. My old radiator hose was fairly new so I cut new inserts from the old hose which worked great and fit exactly as they should. Use the included insert to get the size to cut off the old hose (so maybe don't be so quick to throw it away). Clamps are also inexpensive. So go ahead and use a quality pair.
