I bought this adapter for my HP Z420 because the stock 635w PSU wasn't delivering enough power in the PCIe cable for my GTX 1080. This fixed my computer crashing in some games and replaced it with another BSOD claiming some kind of PCIe error. As it turned out, one of the wires on the adapter was loose and didn't stay fully connected no matter how hard I tried to fix it. I contacted the seller who sent a replacement with minimal hassle, fitted a new one and now everything is working great. IMO, production errors happen to literally everyone, the most important thing is that the seller didn't give me many excuses to fix the problem. (at least it was cheap before scarcity) works fine now.
