I had a clog in my tub and bought one of these short plastic snakes but it didn't work. Bought this snake as a last try before calling the plumber. That works great. After watching a YouTube video or two (I'm a very humble DIYer when it comes to drain clogs). This snake worked perfectly and grabbed the evil blockage. I'm not sure about the durability of the product, but it was worth the $10-15 I spent on a one-time use. Saved $$ compared to calling a plumber.
