Heater set to 450F - went to another room. Came back to see if the oven was done and noticed the smell even before I got into the kitchen. Someone else asked about smoke in the questions section. But I haven't seen anyone mention it. I had to take them off before putting the food in the oven and burning incense sticks to mask the strong chemical smell. It is in order? Will it go away with use? I don't want to breathe that crap, and I'm afraid it's unhealthy.——————— Gone through wash and dry - odor subdued but still present after preheating oven to 450*F. The number of rating stars has been increased to three. It is tolerable now and hopefully will continue to go away. I plan to wash and dry them again after dinner. I hope the smell goes away after that, but if not I'll update this review.
