Review on 🔥 Thermalright Thermalpad 12.8 W/mK, 85x45x2.5mm, Non-Conductive Heat Resistant Odyssey Silicone Thermal Pads for PC Laptop Heatsinks, GPUs, CPUs, LED Coolers (2.5mm) by Michael Foster

These pads are exactly what I need. I installed them on an MSI Trio 3080 because I have extremely high VRAM temperatures in everything I do, but especially in mining, which I do to offset some of the cost of the card. Previously, at minus 500MHz on memory and full fan speed, I kicked the RAM at 110C (83MHz/s when mining). Absolutely unacceptable. After re-applying, my temperature dropped to 80C after about 15 minutes of mining at 70% fan speed. And that's with a positive frequency of 1500MHz in the core and 102MHz/s mining. On this card, the Vram thermal pads sit on top of this metal plate that screws onto the thermal plate. There is thermal paste on the underside to ease the transition from that metal plate to the heatsink and the 4 chips had no thermal paste underneath. Maybe that's why I had such a big drop in speed. However, I am very happy with the results and I recommend them 110%. Just make sure you get enough as it's quite small but was enough for my 3080 with some extras.
