I bought a Reese heavy duty trailer lock and have been using it for about a year. I am very satisfied with the trailer lock and would recommend it. The lock body is made of cast aluminum and the U-shape is made of hardened steel. The U-bolt only attaches to the case on one side (where the lock is), but overall I'm happy with it. weaker" than I expected, but it works. (Although it can be a positive thing if the lock gets dusty/dirty rather than sticking). As can be seen from the pictures, the heavy-duty lock is plenty bigger than the yellow reese lock or the red master lock they don't show they are all hollowed out at the bottom to reduce the cost knowing that makes me very happy I got the heavy duty a lot more "beef” for a small additional charge. You can watch a video online showing how easy these locks are to pick, but I think it's enough to deter most thieves. The additional cost of the heavy- Duty mode are low - for added protection The lock preserves the honesty of only honest people I highly recommend this heavy duty anti-theft trailer lock.
