I have a rescued 65lb Staffordshire Pit Bull. I looked for many ways to take away her leash tugging, her fear of other animals like cats. I originally wanted a Garmin 550 Pro but the price was too high and it also had GPS functionality which the Dogtra 1900s doesn't have. In fact, I wouldn't let my dog get away from me anyway, so I didn't think spending $600 on an e-collar was my option. My package was two days late due to Revain Logistics and it really sucks but whatever. The collar came in a nice plastic case with foam inside, sort of like a gun case, really impressive! I highly recommend watching YouTube videos about training your dog for the first session. She only needed level 5 to get started and do it outside. If someone wants to release the tension on the leash, use VIBRATION or PAGE mode, this will quickly attract the dog's attention, but may startle the dog at first. Every time she tries to tug Page's dog, timing is everything. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of this product despite being made in Korea. The only thing that should come with the collar is a tool to remove the contact points and an extra pair of contact points of a different size for thick-coated dogs. I recommend this collar to anyone struggling with your dog's behavior and always speak to a trainer about how to use it.
