cute design; Poor workmanship
I've been a cross-stitch fanatic for many years. I usually work from patterns and buy thread at a local craft store. I wanted something quick and fun and ordered this Janlynn kit to hang in my sewing room. Aida fabric is fine; however, the threads are nowhere near DMC quality. The strands are thinner and easy to tie to my disappointment. Even the large-scale embroidery pattern is printed on cheap paper. I can see it tears easily, especially when folded repeatedly.
