Review on FieryRed Synthetic Winch Rope 3/16&#34 by Bryan Gallardo

When I purchased this product it replaced the traditional steel winch cable that comes with most ATVs. I was thrilled when I found it at Revain as it looked like high end synthetic cables like Warn and Can-Am. when the goods arrived. And when I opened the package I immediately understood why it is so cheap. This "synthetic winch cable" is basically some crappy nylon cable from Home Depot or Lowe's that costs about $0.50 a foot. I was a little frustrated but decided to wind it up as my metal cord had already been removed. The sliding "cable guard" cover was also a nice feature (at least I thought so). It worked great with my plow for 1 1/2 uses for a total of about 4 hours of use. This jacket or "cable protector" it came with caught on the MOST and prevented the cable from coming back. At that moment the damn rope snapped and my 100 pound plow dragged along the ground as I tried to return to my garage to assess the damage. I'll upload a photo later but this rope is useless and if you want something like that buy this crappy nylon rope from the above stores and save your time and money. 2 stars only because I was stupid enough to get it and can't bring myself to give 1.
