Like many, my unit didn't last more than 8 months on occasional use because the power button wasn't on, the auto-off function stopped working and the pump speed seemed to slow to a minimum. I solved the power button issue by holding down the power button, a minor inconvenience, but I figured it would still turn off when the receiving tank was full. This assumption was wrong. Then I found that the overall speed of the pump dropped even with fresh batteries. Not good. The concept is beautiful and the pump worked great when new but for the price and simplicity of the product I was expecting over 1 year of use let alone 8 months. If the company fixes the durability and build quality issues it will be worth coming back to, but not the current iteration of this product.
