I really love this soap! It has a pleasant texture, a decent amount of foam and leaves a clean hands feeling. It should be noted that this product contains SCS. SCS is often confused with SLS as both are produced by treating fatty acids with sulfuric acid and then neutralizing them with alkali. The notable difference is that SCS is made from whole coconut oil, so it has a more complex molecular structure that helps it not penetrate the skin, making it less likely to irritate the skin. Therefore, this product does not dry out the skin. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the use of SCS in organic cleaning products, but based on my research it is safe and SCS is an important ingredient in breaking down the dirt/residue on my husband's hands.
