Works very well, makes money.

These wire strippers work pretty well and will most likely double your money or more in a landfill, bright copper cost me $2.50/lb yesterday versus $1.00/lb with no stripping. Could lift 30 pounds. worth it and has almost paid for itself. There is a guide plate on the inlet side with 3 holes, it is adjustable and works well for guiding the wire BUT it wasn't installed properly and had to be flipped, it was interfering with the cutter wheel, not letting it spin and feed the wire properly. After I flipped the guide plate it worked. Take the time to set the cutter where it's about to break through the insulation, I used a drill and applied it a little at a time and made the necessary adjustment, the thing will spin. wire as fast as you want. I also took some bristle cleaner, similar to a toothbrush but more for cleaning, and put it under the feed wheel to keep the plastic from building up, just left it there while it fed the wire. .This stripper is over half the price of the one I originally looked at, but so far works great. Any different wire size you need to accommodate, I was able to feed #10awg, #8awg, #6awg, and #2awg with ease.
