In my never-ending search for the right mouthwash with the least amount of chemicals, I settled on this one. The description sounded great and fit the bill for a natural mouthwash. When I received it I was shocked at my mistake that it contained SLS. SLS is a very strong detergent that is responsible for the foamy feel in many toothpastes and mouthwashes. However, it also makes the oral cavity more prone to ulcers and peeling gums, making the oral cavity more permeable and therefore more prone to irritation. I endured this stuff for two days and, yes, I developed an ulcer in the back of my mouth. Do not ingest this mouthwash. He contradicts himself by saying that it helps with mouth ulcers if it contains the exact ingredient that causes them.
