Review on Strainer Cleaning Dentures Container Retainer by Caroline Saunders

Doesn't do anything a reused margarine tub doesn't

Thanks to a series of accidents including a car crash AND a bike crash, I'm (not so) the proud owner of a partial denture. For a while I just used two old margarine baths to soak the prosthesis. (Tip: Soak the dentures in plain water in a separate container, then rinse them thoroughly before placing them in the cleaning solution so your cleaning solution doesn't get messy.) But when the lids of my margarine jars started cracking, decided I myself to buy "real" trays for dentures. Yes. I should have eaten some more margarine and washed the new tub. These mugs are just amazing. The blue cup's lid snaps shut, but it's not airtight - tilt it slightly and water or cleaning solution will squirt out. The lid of the white cup doesn't even snap into place. It hardly stays on the cup and strainer, and if you're not careful what you're doing when you pick up the container, you'll find yourself holding the lid and looking all over the cup and water/solution. Floor. In addition, two cups are too difficult to stack on top of each other. White cannot be placed on top of blue as the top of blue is curved, but it is not safe to place blue on white as blue is wider. And I find it surprisingly annoying to have two containers that don't stack and take up twice as much space in my tiny bathroom as it should. Perhaps the only useful feature of these cups is a small strainer, and since my prosthetic is plastic and floats, I don't even find that feature very useful. Bottom Line: You can soak dentures in almost any container. , and you can find two small flat plastic containers with secure lids for significantly less than these. Anyone make toast with margarine?
