Review on 🚲 SCHWALBE Bicycle Tube | 26 x 1.5-2.5-Inch | Presta Valve (40mm) by Jeremy Gulledge

I bike 22 miles to work, ride tandem bikes with my wife on weekends, bike rides and try to do everything else on my bike too. Because of this, I have several different bikes and some of my bikes even have more than one wheel set, so I need a lot of tubes and tires. My wife wanted to be comfortable mountain biking on paved and packed trails, so I bought these 40mm Presta/French (26 x 1.5-2.5 - 40mm Presta - SV13) Schwalbe bike tubes so I didn't have to inflate her tires beforehand . more on every ride, and I put them in a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Supreme Schwalbe Marathon Supreme HS 382 Touring Road Bike Tires (26 x 2.0, Triple Nano Triple Nano Folding, Reflex) so I didn't have to fix flat tires. I also had to buy a pair of Stem Savers VALVE STEM SAVER WOB ALY 1pr so I could use those Presta tubes in their old Schrader rims and now I only need one type of pump for all our tires and Presta valves are said to let less Air through than Schrader valves. I can now inflate her tires 2-3 times longer than with the cheap tubes she used to use. Schwalbe hoses hold air pressure better than any other hoses I've tried. I've tried many brands of inner tubes and I've tried almost every brand of inner tube that fits a 700x37 tire because that's what I ride on both my tandem and my touring and commuter bikes and I've had a lot of flat tires from my ride and the tires I used. I've also been through a lot of tubing simply because I always swap out tubing for safety rather than just fixing it because I love high-speed descents. I decided to try Schwalbe tubes after reading reviews that they held air better than other brands and I was very happy with their performance in this category. I can easily go weeks without pumping up the tires on my commuter bike, but before every ride I do a compression test on the tires. I like the instructions for the hoses, which show that tires should be inflated every 30 days. I actually didn't inflate my commuter bike tires for 30 days (I call that a 30 day test and I only did it to earn a badge of honor) and the tires were noticeably softer, but after a full month, the I drove, still driveable. 24 days without a pump. Wow! Can't comment on flat surface resistance as I just switched most of my bike tires to Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tires before switching to Schwalbe tubes and since switching to Schwalbe tires about 3 years ago, I didn't have a single puncture. I confess that I am very lazy when it comes to tire repairs. Ironically, while my friends ride lighter tires and tubes to go faster, they never let me down, most of the time they just keep practicing and constantly improving their speed and airplane repair skills. I would have preferred to run slightly heavier tubes and tires to avoid puncture repairs. Do you really want to inflate your tires before every ride? Do you really want to renovate your apartment in the rain, snow, sleet, hail or hot summer sun? Then install Schwalbe inner tubes in a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tires and you'll never have to inflate your tires before every ride or stop to fix a puncture.
