Review on KidCo Safeway Hardware Mount Safety by Rachel Yates

The perfect gate for the area I needed. Very easy to install - comes with wood screws. So by not installing the hinges in wood, you will save time in the long run by buying and using the right mounting hardware. In my case I had to use drywall anchors instead of the screws that come the first time and I wouldn't have to repair and reinstall the hinges again! This is an edit of my first review - about 2 months after purchase and I'm still very happy with this gate! I have 2 dogs and have used this gate on a below average door that opens into "her" room. I installed the hinges on the wall and the door latches on the inside of the door frame. The gate is slightly skewed when closed, but can swing back and rest against the wall when open. It's good for when I'm carrying groceries, cleaning and/or just want them out of the way. So far, other than my own laziness, I haven't had any issues with the hardware on these gates. Now that all the hinges have drywall anchors this is a very secure and solid setup and the gate itself is rock solid. My dogs generally pay attention to this. So I think it will take time.
