Review on Aqueon Siphon Vacuum Gravel Cleaner Mini: Compact 5-Inch Cleaning Solution by James Bullets

I have an aquarium. It's 3 gallons and has a goldfish and his moss ball inside. Each week, this fish produces a large amount of feces. While I have an electric filter for a little guy/girl, it doesn't do anything for poop. I tried a gravel cleaner (it even had a scraper but it was powered by a hand pump) - it didn't clean the gravel. Whatever he could suck up came right back as soon as I dragged the business end above the water level (then erupting everywhere). I bought this in a desperate attempt to save my little fish as he was getting very nauseous from the dirt in the water. First I ordered the smallest they make for my small tank. Once I had it assembled I stuck it in the water and followed the instructions - up and down the gravel. Didn't do anything at first. I looked at the bucket, the other end of the hose was pointing up. I decided that's why this thing wouldn't work, so I went to get some duct tape to tape this end to the bucket. As soon as I let go of its end (stopping the up and down motion) I heard a splash. The pump started draining water without me! I quickly turned the hose in the bucket so it was pointing down and got to work. This idiot really sucks! He's got all the poop and more! It contained old food, dead scales, bits of moss that the fish had spat out. She even picked up some gravel! Best of all, it didn't scare my fish. Another did. Literally. (It was really terrible - this disaster is called Kazan. Do not go there. Or those who work similarly are a waste of money). (after a single cleaning) a complete success! If in the future I see the need to update this review I will do so. In the meantime, I'm just glad I didn't have to spend a ton of money on an electric gravel cleaner. I am very happy with this little vacuum cleaner.
