Halogen bulbs provide a warm glow that looks good in a 5" downlight. I was looking for an LED equivalent to halogen bulbs. appropriate, too bright, side by side above my kitchen island. LEDs are PITA because the ratings don't seem to mean much. It says 3000K and 900 lumens. Then try 2700K and 800 lumens. I think if you had dimmers and for 12ft ceilings it would be fine but didn't work for me.
