Wow, that was a very pleasant surprise when I received it. For the price I gave I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. You just lightly touch the "very" and it will darken or lighten. At a medium brightness level, it is bright enough to draw on both very thick paper and thicker fabrics. I bought this to trace some patterns on velvet but wasn't sure if it would work - what a lovely surprise that I not only got the outlines, but could see every little detail. I love a good big size. It was bought for a one-time job; but I really enjoyed having it. I plan to keep it for a long time! This one is way better than the "small" one I used. It's also extremely bright. Feel free to recommend or donate. I bought at a promotional price (?) and I certainly didn't expect such a high quality product at such a price!
