I replaced the cam with a new GM cam and these lifters and a new oil pump with 55psi oil pressure after running it for 10-15 minutes would have. It gets quieter for a while, but when you turn off the engine and restart it ticks again. The engine runs well and does not stall. The roller of these jacks is very tapered and has a small contact point with the roller. I had my doubts before installing it, but I've seen several places selling this design with good results. I wasn't one of them. Buy OEM car lifts and get it done the first time.
