As a quilter, I have a lot of paper or hardcover books and wanted to buy a coil or comb binder to make sure they lay flat. Quality is important, so I researched carefully before purchasing. When it came to a used/stock deal I bought it I'm happy with this machine. It's so easy and simple to use. The quality is excellent for my purposes. The youtube video on cutting books was very helpful. The only problem is that the plastic 19 or 21 hole adjustment knob is square and the hole it fits in is curved, which requires care when cutting and aligning the holes in the paper. I recommend planning ahead to determine the average number of pages you want to bind so you can purchase the right size comb for your needs.
