I use these blanks to save and play 1080 and 2160 videos from different sources. I've only recorded one so far, but it was successful and passed the ImgBurn (PC burning software) validation process, along with playback on my Panasonic UHD disc player. Of the previous brand discs I bought, only 1 in 10 (out of a pack of 25) went through the verification and playback process in my disc player. Only time will tell how the other 10 packages fare. I hope for success. If the rest succeeds, I may have found a new branding approach for BDR-DL drives. Some information about these drives for those interested: Media ID: RITEK-DR3-000 They belong to the High To Low (HTL) category. The top is white inside out for those of you who have printers capable of printing onto these discs. I don't, and I just use a permanent marker to identify what's on the disk. The permanent marker doesn't seem to affect the readability of the disc yet. Discs have a slightly strange smell when opening the package. At least the batch I received. Maybe that will go away over time as I burn and save each of them.
