Review on πŸ’‘ Globe Electric 65155 63-inch Matte Black Pendant Lighting by Jonathan Sriubas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Inside and outside black. Mine had trouble adjusting. You may not need it.

After some effort and white painting, everything worked out. At the very bottom of the cup, which is attached to the ceiling, there is an eyelet through which the wire is fed. A set screw is used to secure the wire and prevent the lamp from pulling the wire out of the cap. They also had a simple knot on a wire above the cup which was fine. I had to shorten the wire for our application, but the plastic screw would not remove. I've tried both metric and inch hex wrenches. Whoever fits in slips off. I ended up carefully drilling out a set screw to pull the wire to the height we needed. I installed it about 8 feet off the ground under a 9 foot ceiling. The original length of the wire was probably about 3 feet. So for a typical 8 foot ceiling, this would be about 5 feet off the ground. Second, ALL the fixtures were black, even the underside of the lampshade. Using the 100-watt LED equivalent still did little to illuminate a 14-by-15-foot space. I painted the lower part of the hood white, that was enough for us.
