I bought this set because I'm starting to work a lot with Baltic Birch, both for its looks and for that that it's slightly higher quality plywood than a hollow-filled home center. I just cut the joinery for a couple of drawers and the 15/64" bit worked absolutely fine. 15/64 inches equals 6 millimeters, which is exactly half the thickness of the so-called Baltic birch 1/2 inch. In fact, it is 12mm thick. Not only are the bits just the right thickness I need, they're really sharp and cut nicely. When I started this project I only had an old HSS 1/4" plywood cutter and the cuts were uneven. These bits cut nice and clean. Of course they're new so remains to be seen how well they hold their edge. But Im For now I'm happy with the performance It would be helpful if CMT or Revain corrected the description of these bits to indicate their size in millimeters or to indicate that they work well with imported or metric plywood.
