I received what appeared to be a sheet of paper cut in three. They disintegrated and did not release any tannins even after cooking. The photo was taken 2 days after adding it to my aquarium. The sheet shown in the photo was not cooked and sank within 2 days. The moss ball in the picture is about 1 1/2 inches for size comparison. (The frog is a pre-teen, FYI only when used for size comparison.) I wish I had chosen one of the more expensive products ($10-$20) listed at Revain . At this price you get about 50 per pack, so don't worry if some arrive broken. Compared to the price you pay for 3 small pieces of this product. Good thing my betta made a nest of foam under the leaf before drowning, so the quality didn't bother him as much as I did.
