The LED is a Cree XM-L2 at 6500k CCT. The driver reminds me of a simple 2a, single mode driver. It is soldered onto the brass pill to ensure there is no break in the circuit.My only complaint (not because of QC) is this being a SMO reflector. I prefer OP reflectors for a P60 drop-in that utilizes any emitters 5mm or bigger. It gives a much cleaner beam pattern.This is not a 1200 lumen drop-in. You're looking somewhere around 700-800 lumens.Other than it being SMO, the overall quality of the drop-in is acceptable. P60 drop-in are not the best for longevity or heat management because of its limitations. Go custom slugs if you want a to drive it to 1200 lumen. It needs a perfect contact to the host.
