Review on πŸ’‘ Atlantic Vertical Power Strip - PN86915001: Streamlined Power Cord Management Solution by Jerry Bergstad

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I didn't even know I needed it until I saw it here - but it's too narrow for some of my extensions!

Edited to add a major bug I found: Protruding metal sides restrict which connectors can be used in splitters and how to position them. I have a newfangled power strip with sections that rotate 90 degrees so you can plug in many devices with bulky plugs that are blocking other outlets on the stationary power strip. Unfortunately the metal sides of this tower prevent me from using it in this way. Something to think about. In addition, the internal dimensions between the walls are just under 3 inches. I have extension cords that don't even fit! I've attached an image showing the Belkin extension I put there, but the back of it doesn't even touch the back. I wouldn't feel safe using this on this stand. And you can see the side exits are completely blocked. Maybe I'm not aware of it, but I didn't know that such shelves even existed. I have long suffered from multiple extension cords getting in the way and collecting a lot of dust on the floor. The assembly was quite easy and took no more than half an hour. The only part that I found difficult and had to repeat was actually the first step. The top holes in the two side panels you attach to the middle support plate are off-center and you need to make sure you attach them the same way - the short side of each should be on the same side of the middle support. Blackboard. I did it wrong and couldn't complete step 3 until I corrected my mistake. Otherwise it was quick and easy. Now I just need extension cords with sufficiently long cords. I will have plenty of this and it will help me with the cable.
