They're perfect to complement emergency kits, sewing kits and more! The scissors are very sharp and it's great that they fold up for safety. It is important to NEVER force them in as you will need to align the blades without using your fingers and close them gently. One of them got stuck because someone forced it closed, making it incredibly difficult to fix. Be very careful with this! I had to throw away a pair as its fixation caused one blade to misalign, then close cleanly.
