These things have realistic ball flight and last a long time. (Assuming you don't lose them). I play a lot of golf and have a pretty low handicap. I wanted something I could safely hit in my backyard for fun and practice. The feedback you get is over the top (a draw will draw more than a real ball and a cut will cut more), but the point is that you get feedback on the swing you just made. I think it's more useful than hitting the grid. especially if you are a beginner golfer. Hitting the net can create bad habits as you don't get any feedback on how the shot would have gone. You get feedback from these exercise balls.
