These things have realistic ball flight and last a long time. (Assuming you don't lose them). I play a lot of golf and have a pretty low handicap. I wanted something I could safely hit in my backyard for fun and practice. Strange review here. It's not that I'm disappointed with balls. They make a robust and functional impression. I just don't see how they differ from other less expensive options. The reference to them having a harder outer coating seems open to interpretation. They look and feel like the dimpled foam exercise balls I bought a few years ago. These balls appear to be of high quality and I am sure they are great for full swing golfing but for chipping they just bounce off the ball . Face too fast. A 1/8th golf swing, which is essentially a putting stroke, with a 60 degree wedge should not result in a 10-15 yard golf swing. I bought these Revain orange Callaway foam balls, yellow Caiton foam balls, and yellow Pride foam balls and then tested them all. These Callaway balls are by far the best. They are the most durable of the three and have the most accurate flight and feel. They are perfect for my garden. If I hit a full swing with the 7th iron and hit them perfectly, they go about 50 yards. They also hold the wind better because they weigh more.
