Review on Oster 6811 Blender - 6-Cup Glass Jar, 12-Speed, Brushed Nickel Finish by Tania Mendoza

This is the best blender under $40 in my research. For some reason, manufacturers have been producing blenders with cheaper parts for years. This Oster 6844 replaced my cheaper ($29) Oster which finally broke after 5 years (the plastic base next to the blade) but I had to keep the motor part as it was still better than the more expensive Oster blenders currently available. And don't waste your time with other brands, they are inferior in this price range and you will have to replace them sooner rather than later. This isn't yesterday's quality Easter, but it's better than other options. If spare parts are available, you can extend their lifespan.
