Review on Liquitex BASICS Gloss Fluid Medium by Amanda Castillo

I have used this as a medium for pouring acrylic paint, especially Dutch fills. I mixed 1 part color with 3 parts medium and added a small amount of water to get the consistency I wanted. The resulting paint/filler mixture was too thick to easily blow out with a hair dryer so it became obvious that I should have thinned it with more water, but that's a lesson I learned for the next project. The painting looked fine, but the next evening I saw that the entire surface was cracked and cracked. I was so disappointed! I had paint left over so I took a brush and painted over the large cracks and it dried well so I could still give it as a Christmas present. I don't think I'll be using the glossy finish again.
